USE OF FUNDS DERIVED FROM LEASE OR
JOINT OCCUPANCY
DEVELOPMENT OF DISTRICT SURPLUS
PROPERTY
It is the
policy of the Board of Education to develop alternative sources of income to
supplement the revenue limit allocation from state and local sources.
The
superintendent is directed to develop and maintain a list of district
properties which have lease or joint occupancy development potential. The list
will be periodically reviewed by the board and projects authorized for
lease/joint occupancy development.
Any funds
derived from lease or joint occupancy development shall be restricted in the
budget to capital outlay or deferred maintenance projects.
