SCHOOL COMPETITIVE FOOD SALES
It shall be the
policy of the Board of Education to discourage competitive food sales on school
premises during the school day with exceptions as noted in the administrative
regulations.
The following
groupings of nutritious food items are allowed to be sold according to the
exceptions noted in the rules and regulations governing school competitive food
sales: milk and dairy products, pure fruit and vegetable juices, fruits and
vegetables, nuts, grain products, dessert items, soft drinks, and bottled
water.
