Community Facilities District

 

It is the goal of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (“District”) to establish and utilize all appropriate means to acquire, construct and/or improve the facilities used to educate the students of the District, including the use of a Community Facilities District (CFD).

Formation of a Community Facilities District shall be considered when such a proposal meets the above-stated goal.  Consideration of the formation of a CFD will require documentation and procedural steps that satisfy the criteria contained in applicable California state statute and as further defined in District Administrative Regulations.  As provided in statute, CFD formation requires the approval of the Board of Education of the District.
