CONTESTS FOR STUDENTS

 

All contests for students must be educationally oriented, related to district curriculum and whenever possible, tied to state guidelines. Only district-authorized contests noted in the Administrative Regulations are permitted. Participation in other contests will be considered on the basis of individual merit and must be approved by the Assistant Superintendent - Educational Services or designee. Students shall not participate in contests that occur during finals week or district testing. Site assemblies to recruit contest participation are discouraged.
