POLICY AND REGULATION SYSTEM

 

In the development of rules, regulations and policies which affect the operation of the school system, the superintendent of schools shall include whenever possible at the planning stage employee representation whose responsibility will be to help develop such policies, rules and regulations. For example, the teacher's advisory committee, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified Education Association, professional relations committee, etc.

The superintendent of schools shall make every effort to develop free and easy intercommunication of ideas and feelings regarding the operation of the schools of both the professional and nonprofessional staff. He should give very careful consideration to counsel given by employees and should inform the Board of Education of such counsel in presenting reports requiring board action.
