ASSIGNMENT TO CONTINUATION HIGH SCHOOL

The Board of Education maintains a continuation high school as an alternative form of secondary education for those students who have been unable to make satisfactory adjustment in the regular comprehensive high school, who are unable as the result of verified hardships to attend the regular high school program, or who prefer the more personalized small school environment.

Students' applications will be processed on a space-available basis. Priority will be given to students who have been referred from the comprehensive high school in the district. The director of continuation education will make the final decision in processing student applications if there is disagreement between the issuing and receiving schools.
