SUMMER SCHOOL
The Placentia-Yorba
Linda Unified School District Board of Education my provide summer school
opportunities for eligible students in accordance with Education Code
requirements and state funding.
It is recognized by
the governing board that the absence of continued instruction in basic skills
during the summer may contribute to a regression in student achievement. This
will be an influencing factor in the district's prioritization when deciding
the extent of budgetary support for summer school activities. Only those
programs/activities approved by the Board of Education will be recognized as
district-sponsored activities.
