INSTRUCTIONAL DAY
The Instructional Day is that time within each school day identified for
instructional purposes as defined by state law and regulations. Each year, the
principal of each school shall define the Instructional Day and submit the
definition for audit and approval by the superintendent or designee. The
Instructional Day shall be defined to ensure that it will yield the required
number of annual minutes when computed with information provided in the Annual
School Calendar.
