STUDENT TEACHING AND INTERNSHIPS

The Board of Education of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District supports the district's participation in student teaching and internship programs offered through colleges and universities accredited by the State Board of Education as teacher education institutions. District participation is encouraged in order to provide teaching experience through practice teaching to students enrolled in a teacher training program at an accredited institution.

Practice teaching will be provided in schools or classes in the district under the direct supervision of employees who are qualified to perform this service, and within the guidelines provided by the college or university and the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
