TERMINATION
Teachers
desiring to be released from their teaching contracts to accept positions in other
school districts should realize that in many instances this works a severe
hardship on the local school district. In arriving at a decision to request a
release, they should make every effort to consider the welfare of the district,
as well as their own.
In no event
will a teacher be released from a contract after August 1 of any given year,
except for unusual or extenuating circumstances as well as availability of an
acceptable replacement.
