LEAVES OF ABSENCE

 

The Board of Education shall provide leaves of absence with or without compensation in accordance with the Education Code, Title V of the California Administrative Code, and board rules and regulations.

Following are the types of absences and leaves which may be granted by the Board of Education:

  1. Sabbatical leave
  2. Maternity leave
  3. Sick leave
  4. Industrial accident and illness leave
  5. Military leave
  6. Personal necessity leave
  7. Bereavement leave
  8. Jury duty
