CONFERENCES, CONVENTIONS, WORKSHOPS, AND CLINICS

The Board of Education encourages the professional development of employees to be gained from the attendance of personnel at appropriate conference, conventions, workshops, and clinics. To insure maximum results from the expenditure of public funds for these purposes, appropriate administrative procedures shall be established to determine:

1. Approved events
2. Priorities of approved events
3. The method of selecting personnel for attendance
4. The means of disseminating information gained from such attendance
5. Procedures for budgeting and distribution of necessary funds in accordance with the established priorities
