ASSIGNMENT OF STUDENTS
Students will be
assigned to classes in a manner designed to enhance educational development, to
meet verified special needs, to expedite the instructional process, and to
facilitate the organizational structure of the school. Individual needs are a
primary consideration. Additional factors established by law, other policies of
the district, and sound educational practices also must be considered.
The principal shall
be responsible for the assignment of students to classes. The assignment of
responsibility for this function assumes appropriate consultation in arriving
at placement decisions.
