DIFFERENTIAL PROFICIENCY STANDARDS FOR
SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM STUDENTS
The Board of
Education of the
Whenever possible,
the Individualized Education Program plan shall make provisions to insure that
the student will be given a reasonable and equitable opportunity to demonstrate
proficiency according to the district's regularly adopted standards. Differential
modes of assessment and means of instruction necessary for students to meet
proficiency requirements shall be provided and specified in the Individualized
Education Program plan.
