PUPIL RECORDS
The Board of
Education of the
Therefore, it is the
policy of the school district that all policies and procedures pertinent to
pupil records be in accordance with state and federal
laws and regulations. Such policies and procedures shall:
The Director of
Special Pupil Services is designated as the custodian of pupil records for the
district. Principals shall be responsible for the implementation of policies
relating to the pupil records maintained at that school.
The custodian of
pupil records is authorized to classify records in accordance with California Administrative
Code Title V regulations and district regulations. However, permanent record
classification beyond the requirements of Title V, Section 432, shall be
submitted to the governing board for approval.
