COURSES OF STUDY
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District shall provide a broad comprehensive
curriculum which shall fulfill all mandates of state law. Additional learning
opportunities may be provided as resources permit. Courses of study shall be
developed by the superintendent and the professional staff. In the development
of these courses of study, careful consideration shall be given to guidelines
provided in the various publications of the California Department of Education,
the State Board of Education, and the various state systems of higher
education. The district courses of study shall be made available to
instructional personnel and personnel responsible for supervision of
instruction. The superintendent shall provide for periodic review and necessary
revisions of courses of study.
