PUBLIC PERFORMANCES AND APPEARANCES OF
STUDENTS
The Board of
Education acknowledges that public performances and appearances by students are
an integral part of education and in particular of certain subjects, courses,
and cocurricular activities.
Administrative
guidelines shall be established to properly implement and support such
performances and appearances. Principals have the responsibility to regulate
the number, type, length, and location of such performances/appearances in
accordance with administrative guidelines, in the best interest of students,
and in support of the total instructional program.
