RELEASED TIME OF
STUDENTS FOR RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION

Purpose and Scope
To provide administrative regulations for implementing released time of
students for religious instruction.
B.
General
1.
The site manager is to be responsible for the
implementation and administration of the district's policy relating to released
time.
2.
Questions or suggestions regarding this procedure
should be addressed to the site manager or Assistant Superintendent, Educational
Services.

Procedure
1.
Parents shall notify the school in writing
regarding their child's participation in released time religious instruction.
2.
Released time religious instruction shall not take
place during prime instructional periods of the day, but instead during recess,
lunch, before school, or after school.
3.
All such instruction shall occur in a place off the
school campus.
